fonts-ukij-uyghur software package provides fonts for Uyghur language, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-ukij-uyghur
fonts-ukij-uyghur is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-ukij-uyghur package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-ukij-uyghur *
You will get with fonts-ukij-uyghur package name, version, architecture and description in a table
